Hello, I’m Mike Ryan; I own and manage Loft Storage Solutions Ltd.
We started the business in 2002 and are now a small limited company with all the appropriate insurances etc.
We specialise in lofts – fitting loft boarding, loft hatches, and ladders
We are small but busy! We have completed over 9000 installations since we started the business and currently complete about 600 each year.
Unlike most companies in this area, we are a Sheffield based, family owned business rather than a national franchise. Unlike the franchises we do not scrimp on materials. We use timber floorboards rather than the cheap untreated chipboard loft panels. We install what we believe to be the best loft ladders on the UK market.

Our Joiners are all very experienced individuals in many aspects of Joinery. Our longest serving Joiner has worked with the company since 2004. Others have joined us along the way. They have been trained in this niche area by myself or his more experienced colleagues before completing jobs on his own. This means that the person who does the job for you is hugely experienced in this specific area of joinery and ladder fitting.
Further he is growing constantly more experienced as he works with us month after month, completing the great majority of our installations in one day.
Our base is near Junctions 30 & 31 of the M1 allowing us easy access to Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire, we advertise and therefore operate regularly in the following specific towns and Cities and in their surrounding areas;
